a nature center with significant school-based outreach to the city of Syracuse, NY is seeking qualified applicants for half-time and full time Environmental Educator positions.BWNC is a premier educational organization that transforms individuals and communities by cultivating a personal connection to, and an abiding love for the natural world, while serving as a model of sensible stewardship of nature for generations to come.
Environmental Educators primary responsibilities include: program delivery of on and off-site school and public programs. Secondary duties include updating information in visitor kiosks, serving as a camp counselor for summer and school vacation camps and other duties as assigned. Available shifts may include Saturdays.
Bachelors degree in environmental education or natural science required. Teaching experience preferred. Salary is dependent upon experience. Posted positions are permanent.
